Lifestyle

We endorse and encourage our resident’s independence. We coordinate a range of activities including art and craft, cake decorating, bingo, in house entertainment, trips out to local attractions, sing-a-longs and parties.

Our location in the heart of Whittlesey town centre enables our residents to go for a walk on their own or with family, ride their mobility scooters to the shops or go for lunch as a group or individually with carers, family or friends.

Our Residents Comfort Fund raises money continually for residents to enjoy their time with us. The Comfort Fund pays for such things as in-house entertainment, trips into the countryside, meals out to name just a few. If a resident has a particular request for something they have always wanted to do, the comfort fund may be able to make this happen, it could be something as little as a bunch of flowers or it could be something bigger like concert tickets.

A hairdresser, chiropodist and optician regularly visit while religious services are held periodically.

At The Hermitage there is something to keep everyone engaged in just the way they like. It is up to us to enable our residents to keep an active life however they choose.
